i got mine, it from 01-02 an it kind of stink, but the reason is former own didnt keep it nice, but it is a great bass, im planing to get some better pu´s and maybe a badass bridge, but time will show it i want to

haven't played it a whole lot, just got it set up today- neck was tweeked so I figured I'd have a pro take a look. but the tone is nice and it's got sustain for days. the guy i had look at it kept complimenting how it sounds, that was a great confirmation for me today.hey how is babicz bridge?![]()

If I'm not mistaken, in the 90's the necks on mim instuments were made in the usa and shipped to mexico. This was before the mexican plant had the machines necissary to produce their own. I believe the us and mexican plants are not that far away from each other.
Do it! IMHO, quite possibly the best investment you can make in your Jazz...

Are people happy with the stock pups in these? The reason I ask is I see that MIM jazz pups are available new online for $18, and I've considered one as a low-cost upgrade to the jazz pup in my Squier short-scale Jaguar. The stock jazz pup in the SS Jag is very weak.
