I'd like to check out something along the lines of a Bergantino HD212. Something in the 2x12 ballpark. Maybe Genz Benz or GK. Really looking to try different cabs. Mine just aren't cutting the mustard.

How about a hartke 212? I have a 2200 and it can't beat my modded 210 so I am thinking about letting it go

BTW, does anyone actually want to see my 1x10 based on an Eminence BP-102 or my little 20 watt tube combo with an Eminence S2010?

The BP-102 cab is neat because it has fairly extreme low end - F3 somewhere around 45 Hz by my calculations, which is in reality better than your average cab. It also has a nice detailed mid range. It's a great cab for acoustic settings, which is a major outlet for me on bass.

The 20 watt tube combo is simply a neat little practice amp or acoustic amp or recording amp.

If no one is interested I may bring something else that has broader appeal to the more amplified public (but is less esoteric and to me interesting). Please let me know if either of the little amps is of interest to you and I'll go according to plan. Otherwise I'll shift gears.

I'd love to see the bp102 cab! That's my favorite speaker! I am going to bring my bp102 210 :)

I'll have my GK MB212 with again. It's a combo, but you can get a feel for what their 212s will sound like. The amp does 500 watts and is really loud and light.

yes, exactly what I'd like to see.

If anybody has any lightweight tuners (4) for a Fender MIA P bass I'd be interested in buying them. Or I can trade you the 10lbs of mass they put on this thing.

I replaced the pots on my P-Bass for some CTS solid shaft pots. The knobs I've been using don't fit over the shaft. I'm looking for a pair of knobs to put on it. Easy enough to order through All Parts or pick up at Hoffman or somewhere, but if anyone has some they'd like to get rid of, I'd like a look.

I've a new pair that I'll throw in my case.

If you strike out on the tuners, years ago I wanted Hipshots for my Skyline 55-01. It had some cheap ugly tuners on it (one of the first 200 Skylines made). Lakland sold me tuners for $12 a pop, $60 for a five string, which is cheap for Hipshots. I don't know if they'd do it for you or whether they have the right configuration for Fender, but it might be worth checking out.
