Hey all!

Just in case you are looking for a show to hit tonight:

Tonight I'm playing Club Underground (below Spring Street) with an 8-piece afrobeat/funk band called Black Market Brass. Show starts at 10 with the Big Adventure and we'll start around 1130. Not sure of the cover, but $5 or less is probably a safe bet.

If you come, come say hello!

Re: Zep tribute @ the Narrows - Sounds fun, nice room too. Always enjoyed playin out there. Havent seen a band do a respectable cover of stairway to heaven since the 70's. Will be there with bell bottoms on !

Does anybody have any guitar nut files that they would be willing to rent out? I've got an acoustic guitar project that I'm working on for a friend and I rarely cut nuts for 6 string guitars and don't want to invest in a set of files if I don't have to. I would gladly pick them up and pay you for using them. PM me any details if you have a set.

My 2x12 (Genz Benz NeoX 212T) has the woofers vertically aligned and has kick back wheels. It's not too painful to take up and down stairs. For the most part it's good, but it can tip on you as you're rolling and it's a little too short to drag comfortably. I need to put a detachable handle on it. And yes, I power it with a 4 lb. head (Shuttle 6.0).

I guess I am just to use to manual labor for it to bother me.
When you push Harleys around all day and lift engines in and out of chassis lugging a 50lb Tube head and a pair of 15's isn't to bad.
But then again I do not gig as much as some of you. If I did 5 or 6 gigs a month I could change my mind.
