Oh my god.... I don't know Matt on a personal level, but did some trading of speaker cabs a while back. He is a super nice guy, and a great bassist.

Was there still something for donating? I might have looked right at it, but I didn't see anything pertaining to donations on that site, just ticket sales to their benefit event.

I had a great time (although it went by way too fast) at the GTG. Can't wait for the January 'Cabin Fever' GTG! I forgot my camera... did anyone take any pics? Please post them if you've got them.

Hip Hip Hooray for Greg & Matt! Awesome hosts!

It was cool to see the last minute sell chain... Kenner's Spector to Greg, and then Klay's (orrguy) Orr Bass to Kenner ... if ever there was a perfect match! Two very happy campers!

Everybody's happy... but Klay is now bass-less... although he has unlimited borrowing rights to my stable.

As I posted at the GTG - my EDEN RIG - all in perfect condition! (Eden WT880C-D210XLT & D210 XST-Fender rack tuner, Monster Power 2500 Pro strip, 4 sp SKB Rack - plus cables) is up for grabs... all or in parts - for trades I'd only consider a Neo cab... G-K, Genz-Benz, etc. as a partial. I'm looking at downsizing! If anyone is looking for a TOTAL kick-butt modular rig... this is it!

If anyone is looking for amps will be putting a few up in the ads - the bands I now play with do need practice amps - many of the venues I play at di

Hence the availability

What's coming up?
True biamp stack 210+115 w/variable crossover
Hartke 115 kickback w/useable di
Eden 115 kickback w/useable di
Pa system 1000w pro class ... Monitor 2 mains

Rather have them go to a gtg tber

Hey folks -

A few pages back I missed out on an old Ampeg B25 head. Well, I found another one recently and snagged it up.

At first I thought it had lots of bad problems, but it turns out it's generally alright, it just needs a trip to a good shop for a check up, reversing of some P.O. mods, replacing of caps and tubes as necessary and a discussion about other things it might need.

I'm already madly in love with the tone and it just looks so cool sitting on top of the B25B cab that it was made for.

Here's pics:

And here's the thread I started about it:

My purpose for posting about it here:
Can y'all recommend the best tech and/or shop in the cities for such a job?
