Here's whatchya do: pickup the cab and knock it apart. Laminate the boards together to make 'em thick enough and build a bass out of it! Ya gotta figure that wood is fully dried and stabilized by now eh?
As long as I'm here does anyone have a crossover for a fearful they would sell? Or build? I've got the drivers collecting dust and would like to build the cab...
It is long gone. I called him 20min after the ad was posted and he said a guy was already on his way. When I saw the ad still up I called him again and he said it was gone
It was so close to me I figured I would only have a dollar or two in gas to get it. It could have made a nice winter project, or fire wood....
Oh thank goodness. I was sitting here thinking about how I was gonna explain to my wife why I needed a second giant cab.

My band (the Bingos) is playing the Battle of the Bands this Sunday evening at the Famous Dave's in Uptown between 4:30 and 7:30.

My band The DIG is @ Tuttles in Hopkins (the old Hopkins Bowl) on Bren Rd. I believe, Friday Sept. 21st. We are a retro style band doing 60's and 70's stuff. psychedelic pop to classic rock and some RnB chestnuts thrown in for good measure, we might even throw down some old school disco depending on the crowd. If your of a certain age like me, you may be suprised by the repetoire. Bring the missus, it'll be a hoot. We'll even try to be entertaining.
My band, The Bottom 40, will be playing The Amsterdam Bar and Hall in lovely downtown St. Paul, MN on Thursday, Sept 20th. It's a great room with a great PA. We're a rock/country/Americana type band, pretty much originals but for some reason our leader/songwriter has been trying to do more covers. I'm not sure why, I really like his originals. I'm on drums. The bass player has been playing with me most of the last 30 years.
