I just spoke to Glen at the church. He said everyone is welcome to attend the services that Norm is playing at, Saturday 6:30 pm & Sunday 9:00 & 10:45 am.

You can register on line for the clinic.

Sunday night 7:00 pm he will be at My Music Store in Golden Valley for a GK clinic along with Frank Russel doing a Lakland clinic.

I just saw Jim (owns "MMS") on Saturday, and he didn't mention this - I'll have to give him some guff. Must make it a point to be there.

Thanks!

I was in there Tuesday evening and talked with Nick, he didn't know anything about it until I brought it up. He said that must be why they are getting all the new Laklands in. They have some nice new ones,44-51 & a 55-AJ with more coming.

I guess Norm will be playing at both Sunday services also. I am going to try and attend one to see him play,

I just hope I don't get struck down by lightning walking into a service! :ninja:

I went to school in St. Paul and gigged around a little. Is the Cabooze still around? How about the Red Sea? 7th St Entry? For the Irish and faux-Irish, how about the Half Time Rec in east St. Paul? The Uptown?

Memories.....

The Uptown may be but it's a shadow of it's former self, in my limited experience. I'm not sure about the Red Sea. I like that place. Cabooze absolutely. 7th St. Entry absolutely. You didn't ask, but the Whiskey Junction is now one of my more favored places to play. The light rail went through that area (Cabooze/Whiskey Junction) and it's difficult to park there now.

KO

Anyone interested to meet in maplewood to see kenners band on Friday - I gotsta see what breaking strings looks like

I would love to, but my band - The Mark Cameron Band - is playing The Narrows in Wayzata (actually Navarre) on Friday. I see Rockfist is playing at the Doghouse in Maplewood. Where is that? Did it used to be named something else?

1pm on a Saturday is kind of hard but I'm planning to be there and My Music Store on Sunday at 7pm.

I talked to Nick at My Music Store and there will be seats for about 50.

50 People?
I don't see how you could get 50 standing people in the main room unless they took everything out of it.
If they cleared out the drum area and put Norm & Frank on the elevated area by the windows I could see 25-35 seats.

Anyways Matt & I will be at both of them
