I'm John. I live in Shoreview and currently play in a honky tonk/country band. Don't hold it against me. The gear party sounds fun. I could contribute a few basses to try out. Anyone have a Dingwall Super J I could try out?

Honkey Tonk.. actaully love the material..

You aren't playing with Conrad are you?

The luaghable is that I'm playing with a VERY suckwad folkie (horrid).... a VERY hot church (session players only).... and working to put together a 60s bubblegum pop band.

SETUP --- Not sure if anyone is interested.. I could strobe (intonate) your gear if interested.. OR you can use my strobe.

Nope, nobody named Conrad in the band. I've always been a fan of honky tonk and old country. Its fun stuff to play and sing.

60's bubblegum pop? Sounds ... interesting. What tunes would you do?

How many people up for a get together so far?

I'm still up for a gear party. I'll be looking for a final date. Early in the week would probably work for me. I have a '75 Ric, a Fender Hoppus bass, and an Ampeg Portabass head with a couple of small cabs (Portabass 112 and Epifany T-112 NYC - not ultralight). I also currently have a Schroeder 1210R, but I'm in the process of working out a trade for that. How are the homebrewed cabs coming?
