MLB 2018

They were lucky to win. Unfortunately they are not going to have that kinda pitching every night and they can't score runs (runners in scoring position time after time, nothing)

That ump was a dork. I mean they shouldn't have people that invent their own strike zones.

Fluke. That pitcher for the Yodgers is terrible. Unfortunately, the gIANTS hitters are even worse. Oy Vay! Just swing at anything guys, never mind that they are all balls. And the good ones? Don't swing at those, no sir!

Oh, BTW, are the other games you guys are watching that bad as far as the ump is concerned? I don't think I saw as many bad calls all last year than I have (both teams) this last 3 games :(

The Pirates are scoring runs, tied for second in MLB, and swept a double header to stay undefeated in the Central. Right there with the Brewers.
Polanco is off to a hot start, maybe he's the next superstar for the Pirates.

21 pitchers through 28 innings for the Phils. Baseball is such a mental game (90% mental and the other half is physical), and he's killing these kids' confidence by taking them out at the first sign of trouble. Our rotation isn't good enough to go deep into games consistently so when the starters have the opportunity for a QS, he's gotta let them have it.

Could be a long season, but I'll trade it for a Super Bowl Championship and the 76ers/Flyers looking good.

Awww Bob, I was right there with you, ready to click like on your post until you threw in that comment about the Flyers.
I'm out. Sorry man. :D

Well if it makes you feel better I was raised a Devils fan, but I feel like I have to root for the Flyers when they're not playing the Devils.

Cubs don’t look good so far. Splitting four with the Marlins is a downer. Plate discipline is poor. None of the four starters looked good. The bullpen at least looks solid.

On this day in 2012 (3/31), Jamie Moyer became the oldest starting pitcher to make an Opening Day roster in MLB history. Age 49 for the Rockies.
I sure miss watching him play the game.

The Mariners could use him. Put him between Felix and Paxton and completely screw up their opponents' timing. I don't know why teams don't do that more. They go right-left, but they don't seem to do the fireball/knuckler routine much. Not that Moyer is a knuckleball pitcher, but as hard as he didn't throw, he might as well be.

Ichiro and Moyer back on the M's? I might buy season tickets if that happened.
