SFGiants off to a rough start. Two starting pitchers out and one of them is our Ace. Bumgarner got hit with a pitch and broke his hand.

I love that stadium - doesn't try to be retro. Fits in well with the city. And good parking across the street from the entrance. For Citi Field, you have to pay over $20 either to park in a huge lot, or under a bridge and walk to the stadium.

I parked a 5 minute walk from gate K for $10!

I miss Tiger Stadium. Yeah, it was a dump, but it was a great dump. The playing surface, and the flag in center field, is still there (look at Google maps) - the entire stadium is torn down, but the surface itself is still there.
Edit that - I just checked. The field is gone - looks like they are starting to get ready to do some construction. But the flagpole is still there.

Good to see Curtis Granderson got a spot starting with Toronto. It didn't make sense for the Mets to keep him, but he was one of my favorite players while he was here. Never failed to give his best effort or not have a smile on his face.
Giants pulled one out. Almost impressive pitching. But alas, like last year...... "get 'em on and GET 'EM OUT" . Please, 9 hits and one run? (a solo hr by Panik) This is going to go badly.....
