MLB 2018

HEADLINE:

"S.F. Giants cancel their 2018 season. The Giants simply do not have enough players to fill a roster and can't afford to get anyone else due to the UTTERLY ridiculous salaries they have paid those on the DL."

Er, might as well be. It's insane.

Headline:

‘Cutch has 1491 career hits...
about half of them in Atlanta this weekend.

THIS is why I didn’t break out the broom on Thursday morn.

This damn game will Humble ya.

A close game, kinda. Dingdongs kept Strickland in too long and damn near gave up the game.

Is that the first broom this year? Can't remember. I'm surprised. But in this game they kept leaving runners on which is their problem.

And Matt Harvey begins his career as a washed up journeyman playing for the worst teams in the league. Most of these guys never make it back to even close to previous performance levels after 2 surgeries including TJ. I don't know why anyone would trade for him. It' like a free paycheck based on what you used to be able to do. I don't know why GMs just can' stay away from high risk aquisitions that don't often work out.

“that don’t often work out”...

There ya have it!

Why do GMs recycle managers the way they do?
They’re hoping to capture lightning in their bottle!

Veteran pitchers with a pedigree don’t hit the market every other Tuesday.
The Reds took a shot...that’s all.
As desperately as they suck, Matt Harvey just Might suck a little bit less? ;)
