The Jays dropped two of three to Cleveland over the weekend 
Now the O's come to town for three, and they've been playing well. Tonight's probable starter is Kikuchi ... what could go wrong!? 
After the Baltimore series, the Jays are off to New York for a four-gamer. A week from now they might not even have a WC spot anymore

Yeah, but get the feeling he's decided. Besides, he can go out while still playing well. I remember Willie Mays' last year when he was with the Mets. There is no way he should have been on the field.
I think he's decided too. For now. But I also think it would be hard to leave with 698 or 699 when all you have to do is play DH part time.

I think when you are 25 and single, the lifestyle is exciting. When you are 40, have kids you seldom see, and have millions in the bank, that last HR means a lot less.
roster spots are precious these days. not sure there is room for a part-time d.h. well, maybe in september, if a team is out of a race ... most teams i see that have part-time/rotational d.h.s make them also platoon in the field.
He's split DH time all of this season with a couple other guys who also play in the field I'd call playing DH every other game part time. And except for a couple games DH is all he's played.
Yeah. Fortunately the Angels returned the Keystone Kops favor later in the game.
That top of the 9th was full of LOLarity! Tight game until the Angels disintegrated. They kept cutting to the Angel's manager after each blunder and he looked more and more tired as the top half wore on.
