So right now the Rockies have Charlie Blackmon out with a broken hand, Kris Bryant (the multi-million dollar man) out for 10 days with the epizootic, Brendan Rodgers out 60 days, Antonio Senzatela (pitcher) out 60 days, CJ Cron out 10 days, and a few other players still out from previous ow-wees.

I suspect the rotation will start with Willie Mays Hays and Pedro Cerrano, and Jake Taylor will bat clean-up. I'm worried about Dorn at short.

The Brewers haven't had the most games lost to injury, but there was one point where everybody on their 40-man roster was either on the Big League roster or on the IL. I don't know what would have happened if they had another injury before somebody was ready to come back.

The Mariners can't decide if they are imploding or not. The All Star game is in Seattle this year, and if they are out of it by then, it will be a shame. They probably won't have much representation on the field.

I was thinking that the Mariners are killing me this year. Time to go back to rooting for the Mets. Or maybe not. The Reds are actually doing well for the first time since about 1978.

A remarkable feat indeed, since the Rox seem to be striving toward that 100 loss mark! They're really digging into their farm system for players; the injuured list is long.

I understand the injury issues. At one point, every Brewer on the 40-man roster was either on the big league roster or the IL. I don't know what would have happened if another player got injured. I don't think you can drop somebody while they're on the IL or when they get injured.

Not too much to say about the Cubs this year. They got off to a nice start, followed it up with a dreadful stretch that put them in the bottom of the division, and have since had a hot streak that has brought them...almost back to .500.

The Mariners are doing something kinda like that. I think they are just going to be a mediocre team this season unless something crazy happens.
