We’ve had some mascot evolution over the years and the actual current one is this poo with feet.Everyone wants to be Mr. Met.
Well, the Dodgers are having their issues so who knows. They’ll take the division as usual. But after that who knows. At least Kelly is off the injured list.I wanted both Texas and Toronto to lose in the same game, somehow. As long as they beat each other up, back and forth, it's good for the Mariners. Provided that the Mariners don't tank like the Rangers did recently. The law of averages says that the Mariners couldn't keep up that pace, and they didn't. The good is that they are only a game and a half back of the Astros, with three games against the Astros at the end of the season. If they can somehow win the series against the Dodgers, the Mariners should be in good shape. That's a pretty big if these days.
As long as they have lots of issues against the Mariners, and the Mariners don't have issues, all is well. The Dodgers can do what they like the rest of the time.Well, the Dodgers are having their issues so who knows. They’ll take the division as usual. But after that who knows. We’re going to see them against the Giants at the ravine on the 22nd.

I am looking forward to the Dodgers- Mariners series this coming weekend. The Mariners seem to have used up their wins for the season. They need to check under the couch to see if they can find a few more.
I will be a neutral observer the rest of the way.The Mariners appreciate your consideration. If you jump on the Astros bandwagon and drill a hole in their hull, that would be awesome. The Jays are toast. Brutal series vs. Texas this week. Part of me hopes they don’t sneak into a WC spot (that would take a real hot streak + lots of good luck to end the season). They haven’t played well enough, consistently enough, to have earned it a spot in the postseason.
I am considering jumping on the M’s bandwagon… but do I really want to curse another team?I will be a neutral observer the rest of the way.
Happened again yesterday. Now the M’s are the odd team out by half a game.Jays win, ALW teams all lose.
I never stopped being a Jays fan, I'm just a very frustrated Jays fanare you back to being a jays fan again?![]()
Yeah, the Mariners sure are. They just got swept by the Dodgers. That hurt. If they drop a single game to the A's, I'm going to consider a deep, dark depression. The good thing is that the last ten games of the season will decide everything, provided that the Mariners are still within striking distance of whoever is atop the division when we get to those ten games.Happened again yesterday. Now the M’s are the odd team out by half a game.
You sound like a Mariners fan. It's kinda the same thing in a lot of ways, except that the Jays have been to the World Series and the Mariners haven't.I never stopped being a Jays fan, I'm just a very frustrated Jays fanNice to see a couple wins in a row... but I'm still not a believer that they'd go anywhere if they get lucky and make it into the postseason. I am hoping for better next year depending on what they do over the winter.
