MLB 2024

Quick question: I get that games will be blacked out when live, but do they post them up for streaming on MLB TV after a certain period of time, like 24-hours later?

I’m a Cubs fan in Iowa. We have Marquee to catch live games, but I wanted to go back to watch if I missed the live game.

It's still early and all that but I think Toronto's season (as a team vying for a postseason spot) is basically over. I think some big changes need to happen. Either shake up the roster, or fire the manager. Maybe the GM should be let go as well. You can only fire so many managers. Ross Atkins needs to take the heat for the inadequate roster construction at some point.

The Mariners won a shootout last night. They don't do that. They squeak by with dismal hitting and stellar pitching.

If their bats start to function at a greater than single A level and their pitching keeps up, this will get to be a lot of fun.

Can anyone confirm this is true? Looking to subscribe to MLB TV and wanted to make sure I could catch Cubs games on Demand if necessary.

"The big catch with MLB.TV is the blackout restriction: You can't watch national games (those on ESPN, Fox, MLB Network, TBS or Apple TV Plus) or your local team's games live. Instead, they become available about 90 minutes after the game ends." From CNET

And Wilson Contreras gets his arm broke on a backswing in yesterdays loss to the Mets. ugh....

It wasn't a backswing. JD Martinez was swinging at a pitch, and Contreras reached out. A backswing would not have yielded as severe an injury (I saw it live on television - man, was he in pain).

AH right, I'm watching a breakdown of it right now. Ugh! Be warned, it's tough:

EDIT: Age-restricted? Youtube never ceases to amaze me.

Damn, that's terrible. I just looked at some former Cubs' stats the other day and Contreras was off to a strong start. Hope he heals up well and as promptly as possible.
