Tigers would be good. No offense were to dodgers fans, but a change of pace would be nice

No offense taken. The way things are going, the Dodgers will have a tough time repeating. Freddie getting hit on the wrist Sunday was awful. Could have broken it again. We're going to be in Toronto for the preview of that WS on August 30. It'll be my first time seeing a game at the Rogers Centre.
I hope you have a great time in Toronto! The Dome is not the most beautiful of ballparks, but ownership has invested in some nice improvements in recent years. It’s a fun time there and a better baseball viewing experience than it used to be. Especially when the Jays are playing well and the place is packed.
As of today, they’re 59/43 at .578. But they still lead the West which has pretty much stunk up the place all month. Dodgers bullpen was a main reason for last year’s success. It has been an erratic mess most of the season compared to last year.
On the twins/dodgers radio broadcast today, they said the league average for pitchers used is 24, and LAD has used 37
Jays win! Another series win. And I think today’s win secures the season series win against NYY. Nice 
Tomorrow Toronto starts a road trip. First stop: a four game series in Detroit. This should be an interesting test for Toronto. Detroit has been very good this summer, although the Jays might be catching them at a good time. Detroit is 1-9 in their last 10, coming off a sweep by the Pirates.

The M's get Josh Naylor. And with that, I guess Arizona's sell off begins. Kinda strange because they're not that far off the Wild Card race and they have a very good offense. Why not try to acquire pitching help and see if the team can go on a run? Suarez is probably the next most likely guy to go. He's been hitting well this year so that helps his trade value, although I think he's a free agent this winter. Rental players often don't get a huge return unless they are the really big names.
I'm waiting impatiently to see what kind of pitching help the Jays can acquire.
Be sure to eat before you go into the dome, otherwise, it can get spendy.

The Mariners are renting Naylor, and if they rent Suarez, then it means they really intend to make a season of it this year. What a change. I'm not sure what to think of the deal. Naylor is a big upgrade at first, at least offensively, if he can keep it up. The two pitchers the Mariners gave up are not way up there in the prospect list, although Garcia seems like he could make the big leagues. They didn't give up any major pieces for Naylor, so that's good. I kinda wonder what they will have to give to get Suarez, and whether either Suarez or Naylor will stay beyond a half season.It was very convincing last night!

Can’t argue with that. I bleed Dodgers Blue. They spent a ton of dough to win in ‘20 and last year. We were long suffering without a series win since ‘88. But man. The way they have raised prices, passing it along to the fans is tough. We usually hit six to eight games a season. This year, we’ve only been to one.
The same owners just bought the Lakers. So the Lakers will finally be back. But at what cost? Tickets are so unaffordable already, it’s ridiculous.
No it’s not. Conforto is finally hitting. But he looked like a six year old in left field. Dodgers will rent an outfielder at the deadline. And another arm. I think they’ll trade Dustin May.
So do I. In a trade. He's wasted on the A's.
The Mariners had a chance to make up ground on the Astros. And they didn't. Oh, well. On to wherever the A's are these days. Not that the A's will roll over. They didn't for the Astros. I sure hope the Mariners figure out how to pick up Suarez for the stretch.
