Tigers and Astros lose too, but Yanks, Sox, Mās all win. And the Guardians are becoming a problem too.
Really need to turn it around and finish the season strong boys. OKBlue Jays
letās play ball!

Been a fun season with the Mās and Tigers in the hunt. And the Sox and Cubs as well. Itās good for the game. This has been the most topsy turvy I can remember. I don't think a single team has stayed strong all season. Dodgers, Tigers, Mets, Yankees, Cubs, Brewers, etc. have all had significant losing streaks.
This is the endless agony of baseball. It is also the endless joy of baseball. Nothing is ever easy.Jays lose again

Yep. Dodgers lost; I guess a four game sweep of the Giants was too much to ask. Pads won. This is the endless agony of baseball. It is also the endless joy of baseball. Nothing is ever easy.
Congratulations! The Jays have punched their ticket to the postseason - nice! - but the work is not done yet. Today is an off-day so I hope the team had some fun celebrating last night. They can't ease up now though. The Yanks are only two games back and have been playing well lately. It would be an awful end to the regular season if Toronto tumbles down into the WC bracket. If the Jays win the division then that should very likely secure them a bye. I don't think the winner of the AL Central has much hope for one of the two byes. Right now it's Toronto and Seattle in the top two spots![]()
The Rox are awful on the road. W-L % of .240 away from home. Not that their home record is much betterSeattle's next three are against the Rockies. That's as close to a bye as you get in the major league. Then three against the Dodgers. That won't be a bye. If they don't have things sewn up by the Dodgers series, things get a little dicier. Not much, since they clinch the playoffs with a win and a Yankee's win. Their magic number for the division is only three for now, which could happen as early as Wednesday. I sure won't count on that.
And the Tigers. This Detroit/Cleveland series is massive for both teams.Guess we will see what the Tribe is made of this week
They have a history of screwing up series like this. They rose to the occasion in Houston. I hope they don't sink to the occasion at home. The good news is that they seem to play a whole lot better at home than on the road this season. The bad news is that they are the Mariners. That's the word of a well trained Mariners fan.The Rox are awful on the road. W-L % of .240 away from home. Not that their home record is much betterThe Mās had better take care of business in this series. This is the worldās most obvious trap series. If Seattle underestimates Colorado even the tiniest bit, it could end poorly. Play like this is the World Series.
I am predicting the Dodgers take 2 out of three in Seattle. Of course, I am somewhat biased as a Dodgers fan. They have a history of screwing up series like this. They rose to the occasion in Houston. I want to see how things go for both teams the next few before making a prediction. But yeah Stewie, Go Dodgers!I am predicting the Dodgers take 2 out of three in Seattle. Of course, I am somewhat biased as a Dodgers fan.
The Mariners will rise to that occasion. I expect them to screw up the Rockies series and then sweep the Dodgers. It would be a Mariners thing to do.I am predicting the Dodgers take 2 out of three in Seattle. Of course, I am somewhat biased as a Dodgers fan.
And the RAYS, who for ~6 weeks had the best record in MLB, can't find their arses with both hands and a GPS.Tribe recovers from the bean ball and takes the win
I was watching it at the bar (sound off) when the Cockies did a pitching change with 2 outs and ducks on the pond. Got distracted by some ladies I was talking with and missed the game winner. Excellent comeback. My beleaguered Cards scored six unanswered to come back and beat the Gnats, so their post-seasons hopes remain alive, but on life support. The Mariners almost blew it against the Rockies. Almost. But the Rockies made sure they didn't. And Josh Naylor is turning out to be one of the best deadline trades they ever made. I hope they sign him long-term.
