Going up against Skubal is a challenge. But the M’s have managed fairly well against him this year and they’re a strong home team. I’ll be locked in cheering for Seattle tonight 👍 I hope it’s an exciting game either way.

I couldn’t believe Teoscar struck out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. Duran was very wild. I don’t think he threw any strikes to Teoscar, but he kept swinging anyway. Not a very competitive at-bat from him. Could’ve walked home another run and kept the inning going. I figured LA was sunk after that.

Teo has had a tough October. That’s why they have guys like Kike’ and Edman.

I will be very happy if it's a Mariners-Jays ALCS. I'll be rooting for the Mariners all the way. If the Mariners fall by the wayside, I'll be going full Canadian for a few weeks in October.

The Mariners have had pretty good success, relative to most other teams, against Skubal. He's not pitching on too short a rest, although it's less than normal. That usually doesn't matter this time of year. If the Mariners can get to him and knock him out, then they get into the Detroit bullpen which isn't usually as good as the Mariners bullpen. Never mind yesterday's brutal meltdown. I sure don't know what that was all about.

As a Cubs fan, I'm plenty worried about Game 5. The Cubs scored just four runs combined after the first inning in the first four games, the Brewers are at home, and I assume the unhittable Miz will be pitching for at least a couple innings. This could certainly go either way.
