Amazing games in Seattle. I kept trying to keep my eyes open - made it the final two innings. You can't ask for more - great defense play, starting pitchers in, I think one Seattle pitcher appeared in all 5 games (what's left of my rotator cuffs throbs just thinking about it), timely hitting and baserunning. You can't ask for more than that.

If I were a betting man I’d say he’s either at the gym or under the surface of Puget Sound, but not feeling great either way.
What a great game that was. A fantastic low scoring defensive display by two well matched teams. It was going to be extra brutal for whomever lost that one.
It's a shame with a pitcher like Skubal the Tigers can't score enough runs.
I could not watch. It got to be too much! So, at least one more week of the lovely agony of baseball. I guess Bryce Miller will be starting on Sunday in Toronto. Toronto has to be happy. The Mariners are pretty spent at the moment.
Evil. And getting more evil. They got out last night and beat up my work boots. I hate to think what they will do by the time the Mariners win the World Series.
Football season can wait.

Truth. I was boxing but felt pretty wrung out. Diving would have been a non-event if it had been planned.
All I can picture is ...Alfred E. Neuman, riding a dirt bike thru town during a rain storm, wearing a scuba suit, carrying a double bass, on way to the gig hoping the tv has the mariner's game on...

Congrats to the Brewers. Too much quality pitching.
Pretty good season for the Cubs, especially when they went into the playoffs with their two best starting pitchers hurt and their best hitter (Tucker) coming back from injury. With some tweaks, this group could contend next year.
