Cool; I was one of those who said "They haven't updated their website in years (4 years, actually)". I look forward to it and love that they used my bass as the pic :D

Not quite..... We ride dog sleds, live in igloos, club seals and eat whale blubber. ;)

In any case, after playing bass for over 25 years, I finally picked up my first Modulus today.:hyper: it is a 1995 Q5 (Sweetspot) that I got a great deal on, and it sounds killer and the neck just blows my mind.

To build on the Canada reference, such a solid graphite neck will definately be of great benefit to me. The temp/humidity changes (i am about an hour and a half north of Buffalo, NY) wreak havoc on most bass necks.

Will post pics when I get a min.....

I ordered a couple of TUNE basses form vsn guitars and exchanged quite a few emails with the owner (Ned). They are exclusive importer for TUNE Guitar Technology basses for North America, plus they add a few other items to their site mostly from another Canadian distributor. Found them to be really reliable when it comes to shipping. I saw also that they are occasionally selling other basses but only on eBay so i asked him that question, so basically he said that sometimes they would take trade ins for their TUNE basses from individuals or stores that like to put a TUNE bass on their wall. They only take high end stuff in mint condition and sell it on eBay because it is a one shot deal and it does not make sense selling it on their web site.

So I settled on Delano Shielded Single Coils for the new VJ. Hopefully they are noticeably quieter than most single coils. The stock bartolini's just didnt do it for me. Needless to say I will have a set of barts for sale in the near future. More to follow
