Just had a really incredible eye opening experience with my (new-ish) M92. You know when your instrument just sort of opens up for you? Doesnt always happen right away. Me and Bertha (thats a good name, right?) are tight now.
Alright.... So i was looking at this pic and it appears to me that there MAY be a quantum in the background there.....WITH A FREAKIN MAPLE NECK

After you said that yeah , looks like a Modulus with a maple board . But before you go leaping off at that , I'm still looking at the 12 string Modulus !
Are you aware of the Genesis basses? They all had wooden necks and fingerboards with the graphite spines inside.

Yeah, but the Genesi have different headstock(s). That's clearly a Quantum headstock. I suppose since they made Quantums with bubinga and other wood fretboards, a maple one isn't too strange.
I am aware of wood necks on quantums dooooods. My tbx has a wood board. I have just never seen maple on any mod.. Pretty awesome

What? You mean with maple boards? Cause... Genesis basses with wood neck shells and fingerboards are certainly far more plentiful than that... But Idk about with the maple.
Also that neck is in pretty good shape for how old it is but that IS a ridiculous price. Laughable to say the least
12 string Modulus'.. I was referring to the 12 string!
Here's a video that was shot of my band on Saturday, by my buddy. I'm using the newly suped up quantum turbo w/2tek bridge that a couple of you guys were curious about. It's got the big splits by nordstrand and u-retro preamp. People have been complimenting my sound so much, the last couple shows, so I figured you guys might want a listen.
It's not the best recording but the audio ain't bad considering.
Too bad this had to be the only song recorded and, coincidentally, the exact song that my guitarist's bridge saddle on the b-string popped loose (it's a defective saddle) so his solo got all thrown off. 
I'm running my avatar full stack with the svt classic. Only effect I used is a deluxe bbm pi for fuzz on the heavier parts. Oh and I use DR lo-riders strings.

Speaking of rare multi-string Moduli...anyone know whatever became of the 18-string Modulus after Allen Woody died?

Yes, he has done several. The refret is $250 complete I beleive. Fantastic work btw... Extremely well done.
