Another successful gig last night with one of my Modulus basses (25th Anniversary bass). Compliments on tone, of course! As we go into Winter here in New England I look forward to many gigs that will not require a truss rod adjustment hours before my gig. Ah, the little things in life. Have a great weekend lads!

Dude that is a killer deal. I would definitely ask if they'd ship. I'd even pay shipping, happily, at that price. Man I still haven't tried a flea bass. This is killing me.

Holy Carp! I don't even want a Flea Bass, but for that price I could learn to love it.

Ridiculous price for a very interesting Flea 4...2001 with a signature peghead, truss rod, presumably a Bassline, and looking nice in Aguilar Silver with matching peghead...pretty rare and desireable combination!
I spoke to the seller. Nice guy, he reported that there is a line to buy it.

Joe permans FB page has been changed to referenced his own custom basses. I dont think this bodes well for modulus unfortunately. On the bright side, joe makes some amazing basses himself.
I wonder what went wrong.

I noticed the same thing loveandbass. It was a rainy Sunday here and I spent time learning tunes, etc.. and was playing on of my Quantums and on FB noticed Joe's updated picture. Then a little while later saw that Modulus had posted an update as well (new body). Strange coincidence or...?

Dang- ost out on a Modulus Genesis 5 on the 'bay last night. There's a few on there, but I really want a natural finish one. I really didn't NEED to buy it right now though, as I am looking for a new car, but...

Man I'm having trouble selling my moddys for a fair price. This economy is in serious need of a boost. So many people say the whole "man, if only I had the money!" thing.

And when I look at other prices for similar models, mine are quite reasonable.

Again, if any one of you mobsters wana to get one of the ones I have up for sale, I'll cut an extra hundo off the asking price.

has anyone here tried using steel wool or synthetic steel wool (#0000 or #000) to knock down the gloss finish on the back of your necks?

i've seen and read examples online but am a little bit hesitant. would hate to see thousands of scratch lines on top of my kld neck.

or should i just have a luthier do it?
