Did you pick that one up from BassCentral? Looks like the one I traded in last summer. That is truly an amazing bass. I played it for nearly ten years as my only six string and it still was like new when I traded it in.

Gorgeous! That's basically my dream bass, cool to know it actually exists. Can I ask where you got the knobs?

I haven't looked at this thread in forever, so apologies for the delayed reply. The bass has a Sadowsky preamp in it, so I assume that the knobs came with the pre.

This will be my 2nd. ever Modulus.Had a Q6 way back in 95-96 but never had a Jazz bass let alone a fretless.

I just got a Lull MV5 strung with DR Low Riders and I like the way they feel. I think I will use them on my Quantum.

Hey man, sorry but since I posted that I went a different route- had to put EB Slinky's on the Modulus. Not very happy but I have too many basses and only so many string sets at the time. I prefer DR strings and will try them eventually.
