Moon landing. Real or Fake?

Maybe Americans blackmailed Russians with the whole Fake first man in space and whole fake first Satellite in space... (Sputnik)... and fake dog, Laika, that was sent as a first living thing in space... Which too was fake...

They got them Russians by them balls I tell you... that, or Americans bribed Russians with bunch of vodka...

Blackmail it is... Want to make a movie about it? If we do people will believe us, because you know, it's a "documentary". Give me 3 months and I'll have the big beard covered. You have to have one of those in your "documentary"...

Personally I dont really care if its real or not (though IMHO its real, whats the point of lying about that???).

Its not like going to the moon actually served a purpose besides technological advances.

I don't have reason not to believe they did it. Very expensive way of talking BS and no motive or benefit.

What amazes me is the different ways people tackle problems like spending millions designing pens that work in space while the russians simply use a pencil.

The comments about there being no advantage to us isn't true. Space experiments have been an advantage to develop medical equipment to help develop cures etc. Something to do with zero gravity etc. Can't remember exactly.

What about that tether incident with the flying disc in the background performing feats of impossible stunts as the space dudes says "he look space debrit" problem is it was next to a 12 mile long object and floated behind it proving it was far away. The disc measure 3-4 miles in diameter and had a pulsing centre.

Those medical advances are all nice and dandy, but if you had put that money into funding researchers, we probably would have made them anyway, if not in that particular field then in another.

It's an urban myth I'm afraid. Both NASA and the Soviets used pencils originally and then developed pens for use in space. The reason being when writing with a pencil small parts of the tip break off and in zero gravity there was a worry they would get into electrical equipment.

Sure, there's Laika, the first living creature in space, Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space, and of course the first human being in space Yuri Gargarin. So what if the Americans puddle jumped to a cold rock devoid of natural resources? ;)

To people that claim that there was no reason to fake the moon landing: the Space Race was very much a matter of nationalistic pride; the competition between the Russians and Americans was intense.

To people that claim that the moon was fake: people reflect lasers off of the moon all the time via reflectors that were placed there by people who landed on the moon. These reflectors get used regularly by professionals and amateurs alike!
