Anyone watch the "Astronauts gone wild" vid on that same page? It's the same reporter jerk, but going up to all the different astronauts. Any one of those tough old guys could whoop his pathetic butt.

To people that claim that the moon was fake: people reflect lasers off of the moon all the time via reflectors that were placed there by people who landed on the moon. These reflectors get used regularly by professionals and amateurs alike!

I knew there was something that the British Astronomical Society talked about, that was conclusive proof - but it was a long time ago...

I'm not sure if I find it hilarious or very sad, that people still doubt this - but then I suppose it's no better/worse than creationism!

Have you notice how almost every video about this "hoax" people who are apart of it are border line insane and for most part they reserve to inappropriate behaviour and insults? Ever questioned why?

So, your explanation for why you can see wires is it's not worth explaining? OK. Bruce at least made a good point, and in fact, the moon landing is probably real because I didn't think of this:

How about you explain to me how millions of people from countries all around the world, saw the Apollo craft with their own eyes, crossing the moon - through large telescopes?

I said it earlier, I'm not usually a conspiracy theory wackjob because frankly there is no explaination for the above quote other than it being real. I just really want to know why I can see wires in that video and why the astronauts movements are illogical even for someone in low gravity.

People who ask why would they fake it: It was a race against the Russians, the moon landing (real or fake) was a big "who's the better country" show down.

I'm honestly convinced the moon landing is real now. But if someone could explain the video, I'm still curious.

I was a young kid at the time of the Moon landings and I was also part of the Junior Astronomical Society - we went to events where people followed the events on telescopes - lots of groups did this all over the country!

We physically saw the Apollos going across the Moon - it would have been harder to fake that, than actually doing it!!

I think this just proves that Bruce was part of the conspiracy!

I'm surprised people need to ask why they would've faked it.

Either way, I really don't care -- I can understand the reasoning for them to fake it. Whatever. Big deal. People act like it's some great deception...it was 40 years ago and even if it was fake, it's just a "little white lie" told by the government. There are far bigger and more hurtful lies they've been telling since that are much more important anyway, so I can't understand why people are using research grants and their time to point out wires and illogical movement. Why don't they put their efforts to something a bit more useful, like working on new treatments for AIDS or something?
