Most annoying instrument (to your ears)?

Oh darn. My GF is a classical composer and violist, and will be heartbroken to learn of this. See, she's from Eden, NY, the world, headquarters for kazoo production, and thought it was a beautiful, melodious axe.

Gah, I hates it.
I also can't stand the harpsichord. It's simultaneously extremely annoying and also completely tedious to listen to.

Soprano and alto saxophone are grating to me most of the time. The point at which they took over as the main instruments in jazz (replacing the clarinet) is pretty much when I lose interest.

I would also say the piccolo snare. Awful.

The human voice is just the worst, though, at times. Specifically when David Lee Roth, Elvis Presley, or Axl Rose is singing. Or any modern country singer. I'd much rather listen to Yoko Ono. Then there's this guy:
