Most artistic bass i've seen - wow

Yes, it is artistic and and lot of work to design and make. I don't say this to be negative. To me, it looks like a "Robo Bass". Very mechanical looking.

Sure IS - i think that's the look they were going for - as a useable instrument, eeeek no...but an art piece - wow.

I think buying it with resale intent is not happenin. I know a USA dealer had the red one on the website and dropped their pants on it when i showed interest (last year or longer) - so they even struggled to sell it. Its an art piece and i think that is how it needs to be appreciated - but something you can also take out of the glass cabinet and play once in awhile. The top two are pretty bad a$$ lookin though - i think all aluminum too - just an art perspective of awesomeness i think

I confess I read the thread before clicking on the link, so I was expecting a gear covered jagged monstrosity when I finally looked, but it is really well done. I could see where maybe your forearm might catch a bit if you played with a pick, but it is far from "unusable".

I think it looks cool, but I couldn't in good conscience play that with 38spcl casing fretmarkers when 357 could have been used just as easily.

It's a bass version of a Rat Rod. It's not my thing, but I can appreciate the creativity and effort.

I personally love these basses, and I follow the page on Facebook. They are alluminum down the center with wood appendages so it's kind of a hybrid. If I had the money to spend then one of these would be on my list to buy.
