Most comfortable strap?????

Well, I bought the mega bass strap by neotech. We'll see how that goes. I really hope that solves my problems.
Good choice. Neotech has, by far, been the most comfortable strap I've had in my 20 years of bass playing. Love 'um.
Are the neotech straps durable though? I always wonder about that triangle leather piece that holds onto the strap itself. The piece that you hook into the strap lock, I mean. The one thing I like about all leather straps are they are one big piece and can't really break apart as easily. Oh well. If it saves my back for 6 gigs, I'll look at it as $5 per gig to (hopefully) save my back. (I hope it lasts a lot more than just 6 gigs though)
My neotech hasn't given any indications of having a weak link in that area or generally lacking in the durability department. I can't remember when I got it but it's survived many a gig and, other than a few creases in the neoprene from being folded in the case, looks virtually new.
I just gotta give some huge props to the Neotech Mega Bass strap. I finally received mine yesterday and played a 3 hour rehearsal with it. I didn't take my bass off not even for a second during the entire rehearsal and when i got home... ... ... NO BACK AND/OR SHOULDER PAIN AT ALL! Now, that's not to say that it felt like I didn't even have a bass or anything like that... I mean, my shoulder felt like it had spent 3 hours with something on it... but no pressure points, no intense pain, overall just infinitely better.
I'm really happy. Why somebody would spend $60+ on a strap when this one is only $30 is beyond me.
I would venture to say that my bass really did feel 40-50% lighter.

Well I ended up with the neotech. And all I can say is wow tuis is the last strap I will ever need , I didn't think I could handle the heat from the neoprene but it feels so good and the warmth actually seems to help my shoulder

I’ve been using Levi’s straps for heavier basses. Like currently with my thumb NT6, it’s no lightweight but man I can’t tell you how much that strap helps with dealing with the weight. Also as you can see in the pictures between the strap and the weight of the wireless pack I don’t have the neck dive issues you see people on TB complaining about with thumb basses. Expensive but worth it IMO
I started using a DSL 3.5" Padded strap. Super comfortable and no shoulder issues with my 10lbs bass.
