I got to go backstage and meet Dio and his band on the Holy Diver tour. Viv Campbell bummed a cigarette off me. RJ Dio was as nice as they come. we talked alot about how he started on bass.

That is too funny, that is not even the Charlie Daniels version that he is playing to. Plus, most of the guitar work in the CDB was done by Tommy Crain, not Charlie, although Charlie is a very nice player.

I agree. Check out this Charlie Daniels Band live from a few years ago. The current whole band is really good.

I always enjoyed Jerry Cantrell's work. Since he's normally associated in 1-guitar bands, I love how he always incorporates some rhythm in his guitar solos.

Scotty Anderson. His technique is beyond belief. Go watch any of the videos on YouTube where he's playing with Bob Saxton. He is Les Paul, Chet Atkins, Al Dimeola, John McGlaughlin and Django Reinhardt all rolled into one guitarist. I have no idea why he's not a household name.
