Multiple basses - Do you use several live?

On short gigs (2 hours or less) I usually only bring one bass, but on club gigs (4 hours) I usually bring 2 and play half the night on each. I use my ToneBone BassBone to setup the switch and it's nice to have a backup.

always carry 2,it goes way back to when I broke a string in the recording studio,the day I go back to one I will probably break a string

I used to use 2 or more for shows. Then I got tired of all the changing. looked a bit pretensious (SP?)
I use one now and agree working the EQ gets me all the sounds I need in an evening.

I still carry a back up in case of failure.
