Does anyone have any pictures of the control cavity? I’m curious about what the preamp looks like.

Hi group. Looking to acquire one in trade. Any color. Would trade my Big Al 4, or Gretsch 6072 Hollow-body, or Barefaced SuperTwin cab. Let's discuss values, etc.

I know that grain like the back of my hand! Did you decide whether to keep or remove the shim?My first post here on Talkbass.com

Thank you! That's a standard PCB based vintage style 2 band preamp (MC466W) also used in the StingRays. Most likely your opamp is an LM4250 - if so, that's the no longer made original opamp (which also sounds the best for this application). My first post here on Talkbass.com

Thanks again for the deal
For now the shim is still in place, want to test the bass with flats soon, let's see how easily my preferred settings can be achieved, maybe I'll also try it then without it.
They're radicalFigure I’d come here. Truly looking for one of these. See a few online but what does TB have? These seem perfect. Have a 99 Sterling that one would make a great companion to.
