Is it safe to hate Nickelback?
The herd thing is also really off-putting.
I don't get it, but a lot of folks think it's cool to hate them or Creed.
Ah yes, the Mobile Disco. They appear all over the world.

I don't recall ever seeing & hearing a Thai driver playing their Music so loud that it disturbed folks in other vehicles or an entire parking lot.
Bus Drivers do sometimes play their Music too loud, which makes it a PITA to try to communicate with the purser.
Once a friend & I (both expats) were driving around with RUSH blaring & the stares we got were something else, LOL!
It was if we were the only folks in the Land of Smiles to ever blast the stereo with their windows down.
Yeah, we were being immature, but we were also drunk! (Thailand is on the opposite side of the Earth, but it might as well be on another planet)
Often spend more money on the sound system than the car is worth.

Thais have a thing called Greng-Jai, which basically means to be respectful of others.
There was a small blurb about it on one episode of The Big Bang Theory.
Literally translated it means 'fear soul', to be fearful of disturbing another soul.
This evening it was a young person in the park. We're having a walk in the park & some young dude drives by blaring Music with his windows down & probably over the speed-limit (15 mph).
