Yes, same combinations, always parallel, agree - the 2013 is the most intuitive. Sold my 1979 Sabre (those switches were another story) - my three knob '79 Ray is enough for me.

Got a question about maybe trading for a 1990 Music Man Sabre body,with Status Graphite neck. Any comments about trading for it? Any comments,or suggestions is welcome!
What are you trading for it?
I had a Status neck on my preEB Sabre for awhile. It was divine. Sadly, I succumbed to peer pressure, and sold the neck to a friend. Total ragerts!

Cool. Make sure you check it out, but good. You'll want to make sure the neck was installed professionally. I'd remove the neck and inspect.
I have already saw the neck,off the body,and the date stamped 1990 in neck pocket. Seller is asking difference,of $250 also?
I'm not really familiar with the values of the basses you are trading, so I can't say whether you are getting a good deal or not, especially if you are putting cash on top. Those basses seem like they are pretty easily replaced though... Are you getting the original neck as well?

OK. I looked at the pics he has up. FIRST THING: That is NOT the original bridge. I've never seen that kind of bridge before. Looks like some kind of Lakland knockoff. Maybe even some kind of home job!... The original bridge is worth a lot of money, so that definitely affects the value of this trade. Second: No battery cover? Third: If it were me, I'd like to see the heel of the Status neck, so I could see a nice photo of any and all holes that have been drilled in the neck for installation.

Looks like the classic bridge (2013) to me. It's probably the photo-angle. Definitly not the '79 horseshoe one.
