I think it's an awesome instrument, not only because of its looks. I love basses with versatile electronics and this bass is synonym with versatility! It's a shame it doesn't come with a 24-fret fingerboard.

I'm not sold on its looks but, based on the pictures I've seen, the right color combination can REALLY help their curb appeal.

The thing that really makes me interested in them is the electronics. Talk about versatility!

I played Small Equestrian's Big Al about a month ago. I didn't mess around with it too much, but I dig the way it looks, and it has a nice feeling neck (no surprise there).

I'd love to have more time with a Big Al to really figure out those electronics to see what it can do.
