Wouldn't that ruin the resale value of my '73 Fender P? It's all about the vintage gear with OHSC (original hard shell case). Oh you meant just buy a new one & not get rid of the old one... Yeah that could work too.

But vintage cases have better tone.

How do I get the tone that flea is able to get from his vintage case? I tried replacing the fibers and installing an after market latch that he uses but I still cant get it....
