MY BEAT BUDDY IS HERE!

Those of you that have received you BB, did you get the Bonus CD with your order for the early adapter group? I got my BB and Foot switch but did not receive the CD. I emailed [email protected] and got a response that they would ship it out with apologies. I'm just curious if and how many also had this happen. How is the CD?

I don't remember anything about a Bonus CD. What was supposed to be on it?

No CD here, just the pedal and foot switch.

That is what I was referring to.

Looking at that I notice I got the Goran Grooves coupon but not the TrueFire coupon---I'm not even sure what that's for.

You know, I seem to vaguely remember it being an offer for a CD printing service. Like 25% off a run of 500, or whatever.

But yeah, like @Adamixoye, I only had the Goran Grooves coupon. I think TrueFire is some sort of guitar lesson site/community that was a very vocal early supporter of the BB.

That's probably been superseded by the SD card. The original design may have required uploading from USB, hence CD.

Downunderwonder, no that is not what the CD is, it is a bonus CD of 11 songs by, I believe, David Packous titled MicroCOSM. I received mine today and I played it, not my type of music. I originally thought it was a bonus CD of more drum samples. Thank you BeatBuddy customer service more specifically Jay, BeatBuddy's roadie.

David Packous this is one great product compared to the Boss DR-5 I was using the Beat Buddy is OUT OF THIS WORLD in ease of use and plug an play capability. Its the difference between Night and Day. Thank you this is a great product.

You're very welcome!!! Thanks for your support!!!

Had an interesting beat buddy day today.

Singer in one of the bands I play in told me he had a decent paying acoustic gig we could do tomorrow if I was interested. I said sure, and after our rehearsal with that other band, we came back to my place to put together 2 hrs worth of covers to do the gig. I figured ***, and took out the beat buddy. We went through beats to find what songs we thought would go well with them, and it wound up being a whole lot easier than I thought. FWIW and for anyone else who may want to use these, the rock 11 beat could be used for Hard to Handle, Walk This Way, and Superstition (3 songs we both knew). We were able to use Reggae 1 for Santeria, Reggae 8 for Rude, Pop 9 for both Get Ready and Brown Sugar... ahh, don't feel like typing it all out right now. Anyhoo... we were doing a bit of a rush job, and there might be better beats than what we found for some of the songs we put together, but this thing is really sooooooooo usable. Psyched to go through the entire list of covers we know and find more. Might be a good idea to start a thread over at the beat buddy forum posting songs that work with the different pre programmed beats. Or here.

During our rehearsal the gig fell through :/, but we got a lot of work done. So iz all good. Plugged in and used the extra foot switches for the first time. I bought some inexpensive ones on amazon before BB put out their own, and they work wonderfully.
