I have ten basses: 4 Jazz, 3 Precisions, a Bass VI, a Uke-bass and a Stingray classic, love all of them (but think about selling 1 jazz).
At gigs I play my Daphne Blue Fender AVS '64 Jazz, at rehearsals the very similar Fender Noel Redding. Changed the strings on Daphne from roundwounds to chromes, have Fender flats on the Redding. I really like what roundwounds can do sometimes, but overall flats sound so much better, that I compromise. If I'm not too lazy I will bring 2 basses, one with rounds in the future, I swear. Did I mention that I'm lazy.
