My hideous new pickguard!

Goes great with that finish on your bass! How did you cut it and bevel the edges? You did a really nice job!

Normally I'd rough it on the bandsaw, drill corner radii on the press, then use a router with a template and a 45 degree bevel bit. It's been too cold to play outside, so I roughed with a jigsaw and used my cordless drill for the corner radii. I beveled it with a razor knife held perpendicular to the surface (scraping instead of cutting). A little sanding on the bevel with 320 and 600 smoothed the chatter marks.
