Just checked out the videos. Sounds beautiful! It's really an entirely different instrument than an ol' 4 string. You have to view the 9 string totally different. At least that is how I look at it. I'm glad it's everything you were hoping for!

Ooops, Brado seems to have misplaced his 'internet forum humour detector', it might be next to the TV remote...
Big Cheeto + Big Bass = Awesome. Love your playing.
What's the scale length on this bad boy??
"Jaco only needed 2 pups."-Quote
Actually,he only used the back pup.... Most of the time(?). Which,I figure you already knew!
Also,if a bass with 6 strings (or more) is a high-quality/well-built bass, they are V-E-R-Y comfortable to play, believe it or not.
My Smith (Melvin Davis Model) was no more difficult to play (surprisingly),than any 5 or 6 stringer that I've owned.
Look,I can prove it. That is if I can get the OP to send it to me,in order to prove it to you!!
lol
I agree, my new 9 stringer plays like a dream. Perfect string spacing, feel and tone. My 9 stringer is 34 scale. The B on this thing is SUPER tight and punchy!!

Ahhh!!!! You agree with my post, huh???? Remember now,my post stated that in order to prove that a "many-stringed,w-i-d-e" neck is ergonomic/comfy. So,you'll have to send it to me to prove to the other TB'rs!!!
Be lookin' for a PM.... For my mailing address, that is!!![]()

After checking your vids it all comes clear and you can clearly
use its full potential. Enjoy it.
Very good playing in your videos!
Why not add a 36", 12-String Chapman Stick to your arsenal? ;-)

Man I'm mad jealous! Congratulations and enjoy the bass. I've following the process of getting the bass into your lap and it's great to see you finallyyyyyy have it!

How much do they (Sticks) cost? (new/used)
