Just got back from church and got to play the bass through my main rig (Walter Woods High Power Stereo, and Bergantino Ht322) and it felt like the church was going to cave in. It sounds better than it looks. I am still working on posting sound clips. So now would be a good time to ask. How do you post sound clips?

Nice bass! I have some serious GAS for a ken smith neck-through. I'm wondering how yours would compare with a standard "black tiger" model. Any insight?

I am not sure how much difference there would be. If you call them they would be able to help you lock in what combination will suit you best. I think the Black Tiger models are stunning, but I knew the bubinga/walnut combo would suit me better. I was already over $4000.00 and it was not worth paying the extra $200.00.

I would say the biggest difference I hear is overall clarity. The notes on this thing just ring perfectly.

Well after about 5 and a half months, my new Ken Smith has arrived. This is my 4th one, but my first neckthrough, and the first one made with my choice of woods. It is a Bubinga top and back with a walnut core. Let me know what you think.

Man that is a nice bass. I am hoping with all the positive comments about mine it will sell fast for you. I tried 6 string, and 5 works better for me.
