Got a few things today .. rather than retype .

NPDx4: MXR Dirt, Aftershock, and a Colour Box

look how bad I was today, been burning my trigger finger since I first saw it.

Finally got my last board done!

Tuner>Cali76 Compressor>Boss synth>Pitchfork>John K MuTron clone>BlackBerry>Lucy Dreamer Jam>Crea Audio Holy Fire>Free the tone Bass Blaster>EHX Mainframe>Mr Black vintage chorus>Sine Effects upara>Boss DD8>Becos Stella>HPF>LPF> Master Effects Thespian>Noble
I received my Free the Tone Bass Blaster the other day and have been exploring what a great pedal it is only using it with my Diamond Jr and Sonic Spark. Last night it sounded particularly amazing and discovered I had my Creation Audio Grizzly running into it (Holy Fire cousin). What a sound.

That's how I have mine setup as well (Holy Fire into the BB).

I've been really, really happy with the Colour Box into the Fatdrive. I get the richness and thickness of the FD with the punch and clarity of the JHS. That, combined with the fact that I finally gelled with the Pod Go, has inspired me to further slim down my boards in an attempt to eliminate one of them lol.

The Source Audio Aftershock has been a game changer as well. Love it.

I'll be putting up a few preamps and some drive pedals over the next few days, some misc stuff as well. I'm hoping that in the near future I'll be spending more time playing.

I knew the JHS would grow on you, I've never heard the slightest negative remark about it.Like you I've been putting things up for sale. It's nuts having the amount of stuff I've accumulated.Especially in my lack of gigging. Also, I've yet to figure how to load user presets on my Aftershock, kinda defeats the purpose. In other news I knew things were going too good as I was surprised upon receiving my Cali76 so quickly.Trouble is they sent me the Cali Compact Compressor instead of the matching S.E. Compact Bass Comp to look nice next to the 64'.AMS rectified it and an exchange is in the works.

I fully intended to do some playing and comparisons of some preamps and pedals this past weekend but I happened to get in the middle of a dog fight and as a reward I got a few hand injuries so I need to take a break from playing for at least a few more days to heal. So, no preamp or dirt testing for me for the next few days at least ...

That'll teach you about stealing Fidos' bone.Meanwhile I received the 64s mate. Take care of that mitt.

The dog did a pretty good number on my hand. Still not 100%, but looks like little permeant damage and that shouldn't (fingers crossed) affect my playing long term.

I finally was able to play a little bass this weekend. Gotta say that the combo of the JHS and the SIB is just killer. So much so that I'm reconfiguring my middle board. I posted a few things up on the classified, but I'm making some more tough decisions.

Also, Demeter amp and Grace Designs Alix inbound.
