My wife-approved bedroom practice amp

RHF, congrats on a solid plan to infiltrate the bedroom...something many of us have not been able to ever achieve. To celebrate, take a pic of your new PJB, look us up in the Combo Club, post said pic with a description of what you have there, and I'll give you a cool membership # worth thousands of lira on the black market. You're the kinda bass player we'd love to have in our group. There are a few Phil Jones disciples in the group and some who I know are curious about his new line of microamps. Look for us if the mood strikes ya.

What do you think?

It's a Phil Jones Micro 7. Hidden completely under the bed. I turn the power off and on via Siri and a HomeKit-compatible outlet. Amp volume is kept near-max and I control volume strictly through the bass. So I never have to touch the amp itself. I just plug in my bass, say "Siri, turn on Amplifier," and away I go. The Micro 7 was one of the only amps I could find that were small enough to fit (10" total height). The Double Four would have been a nice fit too, but double the $$$. The 7" driver provides a surprising amount of thump, and plenty for the scenario. The 3" tweeter helps provide a fuller range for audio coming from my iPad when I want something to play along to.

The wife wouldn't allow a bass amp in the bedroom. Creativity always finds a way. Thanks Phil Jones!

Married life can be a dangerous game. Stay safe out there my brothers!

Well done. My luck if I tried that Siri would tell me to take a flying leap...
