Double Bass Name calling, put downs, and cynicism.

You're welcome!

As for the original title of this thread:

"Put Downs, Name Calling and Cynisism".

I don't think I put people down or call names, unless they're friends who I'm ribbing, but I confess to being a cynic and a general wiseass and any vow to repent would be disingenious. It is woven deep into the fiber of my being. I'd say that my posts are about 50/50 something actually potentially valuable to someone based on my experience and BS of the wiseass variety.

If that's against the rules throw me in TBDB jail and through away the tuning machine. There is no hope for reform.

It's never meant to injure or offend, though.

And the exact quote was "I know a DB fits in a blue Prius, but does anyone know if it will fit in a red Prius?"

I am glad someone "Manned up" and realized that they have been doing wrong. I have been on TB for a couple years and although that is not a long time I often get tired of people "harshin my gig" as so to say. I have found that when you get a negative rude comment it is usually from a newbie that has just signed up and doesn't know the etiquete. They are used to the youtubes and myspaces where dissing is commonplace with nothing to back up their opinions. All that matters to them is that everyone knows their opinion.
Experience with a product has meaning here. Next time someone puts something or someone down ask them their reason- maybe they had a bad experience with the product. If so then as long as they explain their unique situation then it adds to the quality here at TB. But if they can't back it up with solid facts then they don't belong here:bassist:

PW drove alot of potential DB participants out of here. In MY opinion, the drugs and disappointments ***** up his life and perspective. Lots of posts full of raging and tantrums, that go with the substance withdrawal process.

Doctor PC........I like you man, but you are getting a bit personal here. You are right about the tantrums and the raging. However they have NOTHING to do with "withdrawal" processes. They DO happen to have a lot to do with my period at any given time. :atoz:

Aw, come on, sister - you're way past the age of the change. Maybe you're having hot flashbacks? :ninja:
