For some reason the phrase 'forging new pathways in music and becoming hopelessly lost' comes to mind......

:hiding: ;)

hmm should I shoot ya ??

;)
SURE! Make it a Macallan 18yr please. :D

I think must be the cab wich sounds dull,I have this amp but I use a different cab and its not dull sounding at all.
the amp delivers lots of current and the dynamics are incredible.
the EQ is really good if you know how to use it.
If you change the tube to a 12AX7a you get a more focussed sound. with the EH tube it sound very hifi light, open and 3D.
Well, it just about had to be SOMEthing, 'cause I know Demeter's rep, and clarity/purity are the thing with his stuff... just wasn't hearin' it out of this rig for some reason. Dunno...

which one is you??
I didn't have internet there, so I couldn't ask if any of the TB members were around.

I did speak with Fred from BeeBasses and he is an extremely cool guy. Played (or tried to play) one of his 7string and I'll tell you that those basses are worth every penny. Definetaly on my dream list.

I didn't have time to watch the kid play the Veillete 9, but I did have a chat with him and he was very cool indeed.

Also had a nice chat with Jerzy. Super nice guy. I may be doing some business with him. Hopefully he will like my pres.

Marcus was really nice, but it was the end of the day and I think he just wanted to get the heck out of there.

Steve Bailey was super nice. Turns out he is a family guy just like me.

I also saw Stevie Wonder checking out some microphones, but couldn't get a shot. Too many people.

Didn't see Conklin anywhere. Where they there?

If I remember anything else, I'll keep posting.

peace
Gil

THE ONE HOLDING THE BASS, OF COURSE! :D

Seriously, tho, the guy in the cool lookin' leather jacket is Martin Peters, Zon Product Specialist.

Actually, thats Mark Gullo. Mark is a great guy, Joes right (and left) hand man!!!

I don't know why, but that picture of the zon booth makes it look like its in hall E, AKA da bassment! I like it alot better down there, its still loud but its like a Zen garden compared to the cacophony of the main floor.

Anyone know anything about the black one on the left in that picture? It's the first I've seen that has two Js and it also seems to be a little skinnier than other MTDs especially in the horns. Three knobs? Is it passive?

You know, I THOUGHT it was Mark, but then I couldn't remember his last name, so I went to a recent email from Zon on a bass I have over there, which came from Martin, so I thought I just remembered wrong... jeez... thanks for the save. I shoulda' known better. I talked to him for like 15 minutes (tho in my own defense, I wasn't looking at his name badge!). :D
