I apologize if I missed this somewhere earlier in the thread, but did Jim Bergantino have a booth or display? If so, is there any word on the NV-series cabs to be reintroduced or any other Bergantino news?

Jim did not have a booth there, but there was an IP112 down at the F Bass booth.
The NV610 and NV215 are definitely coming back, and will be available in tolex.

Don't shoot me for sayin' so, but I really didn't dig this rig much at all. Just seemed to be kinda' dull sounding, and in typical Demeter fashion, the EQ is very subtle, so it was really hard to dial in something rich enough for my tastes.

I think must be the cab wich sounds dull,I have this amp but I use a different cab and its not dull sounding at all.
the amp delivers lots of current and the dynamics are incredible.
the EQ is really good if you know how to use it.
If you change the tube to a 12AX7a you get a more focussed sound. with the EH tube it sound very hifi light, open and 3D.

And let me just say: That redwood F bass is stunning, even better than last years "over the top" AC6.
Carey's NX7 looks incredible, as do his NX5 and the SC5! Every time I see his basses, I think they get better and better, must be Stews influence!

Veillette guitars booth, according to the sign behind the kid.
uber-cool looking ERB, don't really dig the 3+ octave scheme on basses with so many strings tough.
that is Steve Nishimura with his new Veillette 9. you are going to hear a lot about this kid -- he is a monster in the best way and a truly cool cat!

actually Steve is running the FS9 and a piezo system. on full piezo he can make the bass sound like a harpsichord... really inspiring cat!
