NBD - 30” Bordwell Dola

Yes. Must be the camera angle or the lighting / reflections. If I tip my head a lil to the left and shut off the room lighting, it all looks perfect.

Also the fretboard has rolled edges, and the camera angle and shadows make it look even more exaggerated.

It's a work of art.

Don't expect to go back to a 34 anytime soon. After I getting my medium scale, I struggle to play my 34's. If I go to short scale I expect to never come back.

I have 4 other 30" scale basses in the collection. I have switched full time. I have a Wattplower, Acinonyx, Danelectro DC 59, a fretless Rob allen, and now this. I have 3 more Bordwells in the queue. All 30". I have sold all my 34" basses except 1, my 34" Bordwell which in itself is an amazing work of art and a very special bass. I decided the Bordwell goes on the market within the next week.

Going to medium scale has ruined bass shopping for me, because I WILL NOT buy another '34 as long as I live.

I'd love to have a bass with two big humbuckers, like a G&L L2K or a Stingray HH; but I have so limited options with only playing medium and short that I doubt I will ever be able to find anything like that.

You do have an option. Buy a Maruszczyk!
