I would just call it a parts bass, nothing wrong with that!If it's Warmoth, then the neck pocket is branded. So, I doubt it could be mistaken for any other than what it is.
Question, my J-bass has a real CIJ fender jazz RI neck with serial number; the body is Warmoth; the pickups are SD. What is it, a fender with a replacement body or a Warmoth with a CIJ neck?
I always just call it my Warmoth J Bass, but I am curious to see if anyone thinks I have committed some transgression.

To me, if both body and neck aren't Fenders, it isn't a Fender.
