This gives me hope that my son might gain some interest in the next few years. Thanks for the post!Brother, you and me both. 99% of the time she's got her face buried in a screen with earbuds in; I'm going to cherish every second she spends playing music, with or without me.
LOL - hers was one of the short-scale ones, white pickguard and a little engraved Hello Kitty on the forearm-cut area. The 'standard sized' HK Strats just have HK's face as the pickguard, would probably be the one you're after. Sadly, I couldn't find her the matching Badtz Maru bass! LOL. (EDIT there is one on Reverb right now, doh, but she loved that Peavey something fierce. Plus the BadtzMaru is a shortscale, and she said the 34" scale Peavey was more comfortable than the 30" scale bass she played first!)She had a Hello Kitty guitar?!! I have been looking for one for a while now. I missed my chance at buying one "for my son". Now that he's in college, I still want one. {{{Total guitar envy}}}
Glad she got a bass!
