No, those are Hipshots I added - when I got it, it had 2 chrome and 2 original black tuners on it... I tried to source a couple of the originals, but it ended up being more cost effective to just buy a new set of Hipshots - and I've always dug the lollipop look...

Not at all...you actually need 7 or 8 more so you can have one for each day of the month.

It plays pretty good - good enough to gig, actually - but I can't get the neck as flat as I'd like, and it has one tiny high fret spot by the neck heel on the G string... Neither is anything my luthier buddy can't fix right up for me, though - I just won't get a chance to get down to him for a couple weeks... It does sound great, though - the stock electronics on these were really good, IMO...

23 basses is past one per month, so your next milestone is 52 - one bass for each week of the year. Plus, of course, one more for the extra day; and one more if it's a leap year.

It was on there for quite a while for WAY more than those basses go for, in a package deal with some old Peavey amp and cab... I watched it steadily drop, price-wise - then made a low ball offer, even though I didn't particularly want or need it... Now, I've got myself another bass, lol - on the bright side, this is one of two P/J configs I have any use for - the other being active...

I see deals in the Rochester CL all the time, but it's a 90 minute drive for me - still, I end up going to House Of Guitars when I need to buy some Mesa Boogie stuff...

I once scored a EBMM sterling on the Rochester page for 500 bucks. Almost went out there an tried to grab another for 799
