Nice BASS. The only thing I don't like about it is that you probably can't get away with a tort pickguard. I'd say mint.

Also, what's so bad if it was made from old skateboards? If it looks, sounds, and plays good who cares? If I didn't know better I'd say you were planting an alibi...

"Officer! This guy just ran in here and robbed a bank using a crazy colored bass that was made from old skate boards!"

"Well, Mr. Bank President, we know it definitely was NOT Bassstrangler since his bass is definitely NOT made from old skateboards. I think I'm putting this heist on bholder. Bones is a skateboard company and the b in bholder could stand for Bones. If it does I think we got our man. "

There's nothing wrong with a guitar made from skateboards (kind of takes away from the completely handmade aspect). But, in credit to the gentleman who actually took the time to stain the wood, and put in many hours of work to build this bass, I'm making sure it's known it's not a bunch of old skateboards glued together.

This bass is special to me and I really want people to know someone made the body all by hand. Planting an alibi, with the pictures to prove it. Sheesh

You really think that if it was made from skateboards that would detract from the hand made aspect?
A little bit, but this guy really put a lot of time an effort into the whole process. Gluing skateboards together doesn't give the option of color. It seems to me his process was a lot more involved than slapping 10 skateboards together and cutting out a shape.
