NBD: EBMM Cliff Williams Stingray Signature

Did the original bass also have the truss rod sticking up out of the hole?

Of course.

No Australian drinks Fosters. :vomit: It's just something that gets exported to those who don't know better. Anyway, Cliff is a Brit.

Oh BTW, cool bass. :bassist:

Kind of like Outback Restaurants here. As a kid, I remember how huge those cans were. Bang for the buck. Not what I would call a great beer but on par with a Bud, Miller, Coors and so on.

Had I known about the charity pricing, I would have never commented on the price.

I read your post and then listened to the new ACDC album. I'm assuming he used his trademark stingray for the recording? Anyone know?

I picked up the virtual issue of the Bass Player magazine Cliff just appeared in. He explains that Power Up was recorded with a Stingray (probably his main and not the new replica), mic'ed Ampeg, an Avalon U5 DI, and one other DI for a blend of signals.

LOL! Someone hasn't had their coffee yet!

By the way I asked a legitimate question and that other guy brought me back into the same discussion....so don't blame me. Just trying to have fun w it.

It really seemed like you were just trying to troll a dude's NBD post seeing as you already spent a bunch of time posting about this instrument in another thread. I assumed from your previous experience discussing this instrument you would have realized it's a replica. Do you still not understand that it is a replica?

Can confirm. Excellent replica. Also, it's a great blunt instrument for thunderstruckin' trolls.
